2024 Show & Buckeye Classic Futurity

The 27th Annual Ohio River Valley Show will take place this year at the Belmont County Fairgrounds in St. Clairsville, OH. This beautiful fairgrounds worked great for us last year and we are excited to be back again this year! Our 27th annual show will consist of Youth Haltered and the Futurity held Friday July 19th and the Open Haltered and Non Haltered shows on Saturday July 20th. This a FREE community event and our turn out last year was fantastic. So many local folks enjoyed seeing Texas Longhorns up close in the ring. Will will be bringing back some of our amazing vendors from last year and plan to have a great time in fellowship. While we are eager to release the judges for the four shows, we will await this announcement. What to expect- Spectators

Bringing back the Old West is no new idea to the members of the Ohio River Valley Texas Longhorn Association. Our group of 40 members & breeders are eager to share the love of Longhorns with you. This is a great, free, family event and something you are not going to see at every fairgrounds. You will see Youth as little as 6 months in the ring showing their favorite Longhorns on halter to veteran adult competing for the first place spot, to loose cattle running through the ring. All of our judges are specifically chosen due to their enjoyment & dedication to the industry and will teach you all about The Texas Longhorn and what makes a keeper rise to the top of your herd. Enjoy food vendors, grab a custom tshirt, and walk through the barns to see these amazing animals up close!

What to expect- Showman

We are blessed to be invited back to this beautiful fairgrounds for another year of showing. Our 2023 show was the biggest to date and we certainly used as many resources as we could to make all animals and owners as comfortable as possible. This year we are looking to add a bit more size to the show ring as well as utlize some different spaces to ensure all cattle are able to be well taken care of. The shoe will run much like 2023, but please be on the lookout for a detailed agenda to follow! We are eager to have you back and enjoy another great Show & Futurity.
